Dr. Guanhu Yang is a renowned expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a career spanning decades in education, research, and clinical practice. After earning his degree from Zhejiang College of TCM and completing postgraduate studies in warm disease, he served as a lecturer at Wenzhou Medical College. His research journey took him to Japan, where he earned his Ph.D. in Respiratory Medicine, and later to the U.S. for a postdoctoral fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center.
Dr. Yang has held leadership roles, including president of SHI Acupuncture School and president of the American Luo Academy of TCM. He serves as a visiting and clinical professor at leading institutions across China, the U.S., and beyond. His contributions to global TCM education and research are recognized through numerous appointments, including vice president and executive board positions with the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
A prolific author, Dr. Yang has published 13 books and over 130 research articles, and he continues to serve as an editor and reviewer for prestigious medical journals. His dedication to advancing TCM has left a lasting impact on the field.
