Stem Cells: A Possible Solution for Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Other Deadly Conditions?

As Regenerative Medicine continues to become more well-known throughout the world, patients are increasingly relying on novel new therapies including PRP injections and stem cells.

While research into stem cells is still ongoing, a few studies have found these incredible little cells may have the potential to effectively treat diabetes and heart disease. What’s even more astounding is that these cells were shown to be effective in Type 1 Diabetes, an autoimmune condition that’s considered incurable and lifelong. The diabetic patients in the study could live without insulin injections for periods of 6 months to 3.5 years, with 3 patients becoming entirely insulin-free.
