Cannabis in Ohio Delayed

According to recent news at the Ohio Watchdog, the medical marijuana program in the state is facing delays. Officials say that the program will not be ready by September 8th, the expected deadline. Cannabis manufacturers were expected to receive their production licenses in spring but so far none have been received. Furthermore, the patient registry is still not available.
Marijuana Policy Project Senior Legislative Counsel Chris Lindsey blames the delays on Ohio’s heavy regulations. Despite these delays, some shops say they’ll be ready within the next few months.
